My purpose is to write from the heart and trust my pen.
I have had a long-standing love affair with the written word. My passion for reading is only paralleled by my desire to write. Whether reading a beautifully worded novel or writing my own intriguing stories, I have always taken pleasure in the magic of a wonderfully crafted message. Writing is not something I do to earn a living; writing is something I live to do.
As a freelance writer, I bring that same energy to each project I accept in order to deliver a genuinely well-written piece. I write with integrity and enthusiasm, so I am selective about the type of projects I will accept and the number of projects I work on simultaneously. If I feel that I am unable to accept a project without compromising quality, I will do my best to refer you to someone who is available and specializes in the type of work you require.
My own experience ranges from working as a proofreader for a Fortune 500 Company to writing promotional and web content for the world's largest aquarium to editing a manuscript for an author who appeared on Oprah. Still, I am always looking to improve my craft. I hold my Bachelor’s of Science in Communication and am currently pursuing my Master of Fine Arts in Writing. I am a member of Toastmaster’s International and serve on the communication committee of two international organizations.
As long as I can hold a pen I will continue to write.
